The National 3-Point Championship, which takes place during Final Four Week, features eight of the top girls high school 3-point shooters in the nation and eight of the top boys.
Seven of the players for each category are selected by a team at the sports marketing firm InterSport, with a focus on inviting the top 3-point shooters in the nationidentified by ESPN. The eighth and final spot in the competition is left open to a fan vote. The players selected to participate in the voting competition, including Tierra, were selected for their excellent 3-point skills.
Over the next few weeks, Tierra will seek votes in competition with a 3-point shooter from another high school in the nation, and whoever secures the most votes will advance to the next round.
The 3-Point finals will air on CBS.
