Collegiate is committed to instilling a global perspective in our students to help them become thoughtful and engaged world citizens. A centerpiece of our global education program is our International Emerging Leaders Program, which enrolls about 45 seniors and 55 juniors annually and strives to engage the whole Collegiate community with our 65 visiting international students. The program focuses on cross-cultural communication, global awareness, using design-thinking to solve problems, and leadership development. The program has three different offerings, each with a unique approach to these common learning objectives.

WHERE

Our Conference takes place on our campus in Richmond, at our business and university partners in Richmond, and in Washington DC. Our students in our Asia program spend 10 days in China, visting global businesses in Shanghai and on campus at our partner school in Yangzhou. Our Americas program students attend a International Youth Dialogue symposium in Mexico City and then participate in immersive service-learning with the Spanish-speaking communities in Richmond. Our students bridge the divide between global and local, understanding that is an essential requirement of leadership in today's world.
