Cougar Holiday Express Rolls In

The Collegiate Parents’ Association will host its annual holiday shopping event, the Cougar Holiday Express, this week.

This year’s event features two stops: the Cougar Boutique and the Cub Boutique. Attendees are invited to grab a cup of coffee and experience the Cougar Boutique on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Business Office parking lot, where pre-ordered holiday items will be ready for pickup.

The second stop will be Friday, Dec. 8 at the Cub Boutique, from 3-6 p.m. in the Estes Multipurpose Room, where Lower School students will enjoy secret shopping for family, friends and pets. This year, there will be many items featuring Collegiate and RVA, says Becky Thalhimer, co-chair of the Cub Boutique committee.

“The Cub Boutique is a tradition that the children get excited about,” she said. “They love going in and shopping without their parents!”

Joy Jones, co-chair of the Holiday Greens committee, says the Cougar Holiday Express is a great way to get into the spirit of the season.

“The event offers a convenient way to check items off of your list while enjoying and supporting our Cougar community!" she said.
