Middle School Mosaic Club Visits Postive Vibe Café
Collegiate's Middle School Mosaic Club visited Postive Vibe Café, a Richmond restaurant that offers comfort food and catering. The eatery is also a nonprofit organization dedicated to training and employing people with disabilities in food services.
Since 2004, Positive Vibe Café has trained more than 1,100 students through scholarships. The restaurant's hands-on training program helps build self-confidence as it teaches basic food service skills and prepares students for real-world employment.
Middle Mosaic is a 5th-8th Grade club that seeks to build an even better school community in the Middle School. During lunch meetings, Middle Mosiac holds discussions and participates in fun activities that celebrate diversity in our community and identify ways to make the Collegiate School community a stronger, more inclusive one.
