Seniors Inducted Into Cum Laude Society

Thirteen Collegiate School seniors were inducted this morning into the Collegiate chapter of Cum Laude, a national honor society that recognizes academic excellence and citizenship.
Upper School Head Patrick Loach congratulated the honorees for their hard work and remarked how they truly embody the society’s motto, Areté (excellence), Diké (justice) and Timé (honor).

“They are exemplars of scholarship who put so much effort into what they want to achieve,” he said.

The honorees for the fall are: Matthew Barbieri, Sam Buxbaum, Laura Fairlamb, Eliza Goggins, Libby Johnson, Lucy Johnson, Virginia Kauders, Stephen Laming, Natasha Makarova, Anika Prakash, Jensen Richardson, Sophie Roberts and Emily Smith.

Additional Cum Laude Society members will be inducted in the spring.
