Parents’ Association Hosts Annual Cougar Paw-Looza
Collegiate School’s Parents’ Association will host Cougar Paw-Looza tomorrow on the Lower School grounds outside Centennial Hall. From 5-7 p.m., families can enjoy a fun, informal dinner to celebrate the new school year. Admission is $5 per person.
Event co-chairs Amy Quinby and Charlotte Nelson invite everyone to come!
"Cougar Paw-Looza is the first event at Collegiate that includes all students and parents from every grade and gives families, new and old, an opportunity to gather casually and get to know each other!,” Mrs. Nelson said. “Everyone always has a great time!"
Here is Mrs. Quinby’s and Mrs. Nelson’s overview of this special evening:
What is Cougar Paw-Looza?
It is Collegiate's Lower School back-to-school picnic for JK-4th Grade families.
What can families expect from the event?
A fun-filled evening with a DJ leading dance contests and blacktop games. Some of Richmond's favorite food trucks are there or you can bring your own picnic!
Is there anything new this year?
This year, there will be an interactive art truck called Studio 2 3 with up to five artisans working with the children. And like last year, we’ve invited members of the Makers of Collegiate community, which included local artists sharing their trades, including pottery making, sewing, felting, screen printing and a lot more!
Why should people attend?
It is a great opportunity for new and old families to reconnect and kick off another great school year!
