Mike Stott Wins NISCA Outstanding Service Award
Coach Mike Stott was awarded the 2017 NISCA Outstanding Service Award.
To be elligible for this award, Mike had to do the following:
1. have served aquatics in swimming and diving and/or water polo for at least fifteen (15) years,
2. been a member in good standing of the Association for at least ten (10) years,
3. had above average success as a competitive aquatic coach, and
4. shown leadership at the local (city, state) level or at the national level in interscholastic aquatics.
Mike has been an executive board member and regional representative for the VISAA from 2002-2017, the co-director of the VISAA State Meet, and the camp and clinic organizer and coach for over 300 events.
He has been a consistent contributor to Swimming World Magazine and the NISCA magazine. Mike is a multi-time VISAA and League of Independent Schools Coach of the Year.
