Hello, Summer!

It may seem early, but it's time to think about summer and ways to keep everyone busy during the school break. Tomorrow is the first day you can sign up for one or more of Collegiate's Summer Quest programs for ages Junior Kindergarten to adult -- don't delay!
Along with the longstanding sports, arts, enrichment and academics favorites, this year there will be a few new choices among the 175+ options. New on the list are Virtual Reality, MineCraftEDU, Coding, Swim Stroke Enhancement, Robotics, Full STEAM Ahead, RVA Historical Quest, Tomorrow's Leaders - Problem Solving on a Global Level, 3D Printing, Animate It, Become an Entrepreneur - Enter the Shark Tank and Electronic Game Design.

"This year we have a number of new camps for every age group and have also brought back traditional favorites," says Collin McConaghy, Director of Summer Quest. "Our program was designed with our eight pillars of Responsible Citizenship in mind: service learning, global engagement, civic engagement, economic literacy, inclusion, entrepreneurship, ethics and sustainability. These pillars have allowed us to design a well-rounded program that allows students to challenge themselves mentally, physically and socially."

Sign up for summer fun at Summer Quest's web page starting 8:30am, Friday, Jan. 29.
