Get Ready for the Cougar Holiday Express!
This year, the Parents' Association has introduced a new twist on a decades-old tradition of celebrating the holiday season -- the Cougar Holiday Express.
"For years, we held our holiday event, 'Tis the Season..., but this year we decided to make a change to celebrate our Centennial and to accommodate our parents' busy schedules at this time of year," says Jill Mountcastle, Parents' Association president. "As we begin our 101st year, we want to begin a new tradition that offers a community event (the family holiday dinner) and keeps cherished traditions (Holiday Greens and Cub Boutique)."
Here is the schedule for Thursday, Dec. 3: Holiday Greens Orders will be available for pick-up 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Burke Hall (Lower School), and from 4-8 p.m. in Estes. You can also shop for beautiful, one-of-a-kind centerpieces, swags and holiday decorations tailored on-site especially for you. Come early for best selection!
Other Order Pick-ups From 4-8 p.m., Plantation Peanuts, Dove Chocolates Discoveries and Portico Gourmet Meals can be picked up in Centennial Hall, and Tea Towels will be available for pick-up in Estes.
Cub Boutique From 4-8 p.m., children can visit the Cub Boutique in Estes to secretly shop for family, friends and pets while their parents pick up the gourmet goodies they ordered online.
Family Holiday Dinner From 5-7:30 p.m., join your family and friends in the NEW Centennial Hall at the Lower School for a Family Holiday Dinner. YOU MAY SIGN UP HERE UNTIL 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
