Centennial Speaker Mikey Thompson '06 Addresses Students

As one of our Centennial Speakers, Mikey Thompson '06 returned to Collegiate today to talk to Middle and Upper School assemblies about how our ability to choose how we will react to any given circumstance is our greatest power as human beings.

Since Mikey graduated from Collegiate where he was a standout athlete, he has played lacrosse at UVA and professionally for the Denver Outlaws. He has also served as a lacrosse coach at Christopher Newport University and worked with Lacrosse the Nations. Throughout this time, several tragedies have occurred involving friends and family, and he spoke to our students about how making the choice to move forward in a postive way is the best option for dealing with adversity.
