Welcome, Head of School Steve Hickman!
It's official ... on his first day at Collegiate, our new Head of School, Steve Hickman, has earned full Cougar status. We know this because Claud Whitley, our most senior security staffer, has given him a set of keys to the School.
On his first morning on campus, Mr. Hickman is visiting with faculty and staff and getting settled in his office. His assistant, Susan Wiley, is on hand to help him get familiar with the basics like phones and greet wellwishers -- Director of Development Michael Brost and Board member Judy Pahren stopped by to say hello.
“When we selected Steve to be our next Head of School, we were confident that he possessed the right mix of experience, integrity and vision to be an exceptional leader for Collegiate,” says John O’Neill, Chair of Collegiate’s Board of Trustees. “Our time with Steve over the past several months in coordinating his transition to Collegiate has validated our confidence. We are very excited to have Steve here with us.”
