Join Our Race for the Cure Team!

The entire Collegiate community -- students, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, alumni and friends -- is encouraged to join our Race for the Cure team: Inspired by Joanne.

Our team is named for Joanne Pratt, longtime English teacher who died in 2004, and we'll also be walking and running (and sleeping in -- that's an option) in honor of our Director of Student Life, Kristin Harris, whose courageous fight with cancer inspires all of us daily, and all of our other friends and family whom this disease has touched. Help us contribute to cancer research by having the biggest team ever! The Race for the Cure is Saturday, May 11. Online registration will be available through Wednesday, May 8. Read on for the easy steps to register....

The Collegiate School-Inspired by Joanne is the name of our team.
1. Go to http://www.komencentralva.org/komen-race-for-the-cure/

2.Click on the register tab then click on the TEAM tab in the center of the page.
3.Click join an existing team
4.Copy and paste, The Collegiate School-Inspired by Joanne, into the TEAM NAME section.
5. Our team should pop up with a link to join the team on the far right.

6. You will then be prompted to pay and register. Once you complete this you have officially joined our team

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR INSPIRED BY JOANNE. If you register individually you will not be a member of our team. And don't forget, you can register as a sleep-in team member and support the cause from home on May 11.
