Final Championship Week Update; Hawthorne Sets Scoring Mark

Collegiate defeated Flint Hill 57-37 in the Jacobs Gym in the first round of the VISAA girls' basketball tournament Feb. 26. Junior guard Annie Hawthorne scored 14 points to become the Cougars' leading all-time scorer. Her total of 1,196 moved her ahead of Dominique Meeks '09, who scored 1,191. These are the results of league and state championship competition.

In the quarterfinals of the state tournament Feb. 27, the Cougars fell 63-45 to St. Catherine's.
