Producer Michael Gottwald '02 Nominated for Oscar

Congratulations to Michael Gottwald '02 for the Oscar nomination of Beasts of the Southern Wild, a film he co-produced. The movie was nominated for four Academy Awards -- Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay. Michael graduated from Wesleyan University and then founded, with college friends, a film production company called Court 13. Beasts is their first feature film.
