Coach Hickey Earns Third Hall of Fame Honor
Jim Hickey, who headed the track and field program at Collegiate School for 37 years, has been elected to the Halifax County-South Boston Sports Hall of Fame.
A native of South Boston, VA, Hickey was a 2004 inductee into the Collegiate Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a member of the 9-0 football team at Washington & Lee that was inducted into the University's Athletic Fall of Fame in 2008.
"It's very nice," Hickey said of his latest recognition. "It's a great honor."
