We had one school record last night. Hats off to 2007 runner-up at States James Ross who wowed the crowd with a 233.05 for six dives, surpassing his previous best 230.75. And carrying forth in fine fashion was Austin Spivey making her debut and taking second in girls diving.

Some swims of note of which there were many. Here's just a sampling:

- Eric Yan blistered the Medley Relay free with a 24.59
- Birthday girl Kate Byron clocked a 26.75 in the 50 free, .08 off her flat start best
- Carter Reifsnider scorched a 27.67 in the 50 free
- Mac Anthony downed defending state champ Andrew McIntyre in the 50 free & beat him in the 100 free
- Peter Rossetti, fresh from a State Champions football season, went 24.21 in the 50 free
- Wil Coor fashioned a 25.84 50 free and lead off the 200 free relay with a 25.62
- Thomas Stephens, recovering from illness, moved to 5th Collegiate all time in the 100 fly = 54.69
- First timers Katie McCauley and Caroline Cooke knocked down a 6:23.29 and 6:47.09 respectively in the 500 free
- Brooks Rooks tenacity in the 500 free still lives. He shone with a fine early season 4:45.65
- Catherine Burns and Mason Brown earned valuable 4th & 5th places for the Cougars with 1:24.71 and 1:26.00 in the 100 breast
- Newly minted Eagle Scout Will Garson flashed a 1:13.85 in the 100 breast, just 1.3 off the State cut
