The Winter Party was Blue Ribbon Fun
Yeeha! Lucky Bill, the cowboy crooner, welcomed more than 450 guests Saturday night to the Collegiate Winter Party at the Science Museum of Virginia. The annual benefit featured a western theme with music by Wrinkle Neck Mules and festivities chaired by Libby Lewis and Janet Deskevich.
Coach Charlie McFall was honored for his many years as head football
coach, and Auction Coordinator Libby Robertson was congratulated on her
10 years of spectacular events, this one being her last. Partygoers bid
on lots of great items including trips, jewelry, concert tickets, a
labradoodle and a kids' sleepover with Coach McFall and members of our
championship football team. "Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and staff who made this event
such a great success," says Libby Robertson. "It was a fun night, and
we appreciate everyone's participation in raising funds for
construction at our Goochland Athletic Campus."
