Cougars Run Well at Middle School Invitational

The JV Boys had a good showing in the Virginia Middle School Invitational Tuesday at Fork Union. Several boys ran in the middle school race, and the Collegiate team placed third overall. The top five finishers for the Cougars were Lee Beauchamp (3rd place overall, 20:53), Trip Templeman (4th, 21:11), Anthony Vita (12th, 22:41), Thomas Ware (17th, 23:21), and Chris Davis (30th, 25:47). Several JV runners ran in the ninth grade race as well. Three boys finished in the top 10 for the Cougars: Matthew Robinson (2nd plave overall, 20:47), Russell Timmons (8th. 28:24), and Charles Franklin (9th, 29:06).
