Mindfulness is integrated into Collegiate School's Middle School curriculum in a manner that makes it a routine part of students' academic schedules and health and wellness practices.
In addition to classroom discussions about ways to ground themselves in the present moment and practice empathy in their interactions with others, Middle Schoolers are taught breathing exercises and other strategies to center themselves.
