Steve Oden

3 years

Steve Oden asked me to keep this “congratulations” speech much like his time here at Collegiate - short and sweet.

Though Steve has only been with us through the Pandemic Years, his academic career spans over 30 years.

He has been teaching Introductory Oceanography at VCU as an adjunct professor since 1989.

He worked at Patrick Henry High School for 18 years teaching a variety of science courses ranging from earth science to AP biology and everything in between.

He was a co-instructor with The Math Science Innovation Center developing and teaching science and math units across the region. This is where we found him four years ago.

While Steve was with us for the past three years he has encouraged our best and brightest cougars to share their thoughts on a wonderful variety of concepts and topics.

Thank you, Steve, for coming here to share your thoughts, your wisdom, and your friendship. Be Well.
