Intro to Public Speaking

Get geared up with all the tools to speak with confidence and compete with your school's speech team next year! In this fun and engaging public speaking camp, we will introduce students to the skill of competitive speaking while building their toolbox of speaking and presentation skills to become powerful and dynamic speakers.

Collegiate Upper School Speech and Debate Team coaches will teach the fundamentals of public speaking, enabling Middle School and Upper School students to develop core presentation and performance skills that boost confidence and self-esteem. Through drills and games, we will learn the art of physicality, vocalization, and characterization in order to create dynamic and impactful speeches. Students will hone skills and develop their pieces to be "competition ready" for the fall.
