Collegiate 6th Grader to Perform a Lead Role in "The Nutcracker"

Kyla Williams, a Collegiate School 6th Grader, is one of two dancers who will perform the role of Clara in the Richmond Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. She also will be part of the ballet’s road company that will perform the show in Norfolk in early December. Kyla began dancing seven years ago and has performed with the Richmond Ballet’s holiday classic five times previously in various roles. Performances of The Nutcracker begin on Dec. 13 at the Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center. She was profiled in the December issue of Richmond Magazine about her lead role.
