Collegiate 1st Grader Earns Honors for Poster Design

Collegiate School 1st Grader Amanda Derian recently earned first place for her poster design in honor of Brain Injury Awareness Month. The Brain Injury Association of Virginia held a statewide contest for Grades K-8. Students had to create a poster with at least one fact about the brain, one tip about how to keep the brain safe, a motto/slogan and a detailed image. Amanda earned honors in the K-2 category. Congratulations, Amanda!
