Miranda Saunders

Miranda Saunders began at Collegiate in 2022 and has nearly 25 years of experience working on both sides of the college admissions desk. She began her career as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Vassar College where, in addition to the recruitment and evaluation of applicants, she supervised tour guides and coordinated on-campus programming including open houses and admitted student days. Following Vassar, Miranda worked at three independent schools in the metropolitan New York City area, helping students discover who they are and what they want from their college experience. Miranda has worked in various capacities including as a seasonal reader for NYU and as an essay writing specialist for Oxbridge Academy. A proud parent to Lainie (‘30) and Eliza (‘31), she aims to build confidence and reduce stress throughout the application process and most enjoys helping students craft and share their stories.
