Come join Collegiate's Lower School Counselors for a week long adventure of art, social emotional learning and connection! This camp is designed to help children build self-awareness, learn to manage emotions, and strengthen relationships to self and others through activities and expressive arts projects. Each day will be packed with hands-on activities, meaningful discussions and fun creative outlets designed to help kids thrive emotionally and socially.

A Lower School Counselor, Kelsey Felton has worked at Collegiate as a school counselor for 8 years, and has worked in education as either a teacher or counselor for over 17 years. Kelsey has a Master's Degree in counseling from UNC and Master's Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech. She has a passion for using strengths based approaches to help students build skills in executive function. 

A Lower School Counselor, Anne Hogge has worked at Collegiate as a school counselor for 7 years and has been a school counselor since 2009. She has a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech and is a National Board Certified Counselor. She gained licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in August 2025. Her approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, practical strategies and a strong commitment to helping her students reach their personal goals.
