This course is required of all 9th Graders and includes units on human sexuality, substance use/abuse, basics of CPR and community first aid, mental health, social media and mindfulness.
The expectation is that enrolled students will be present from 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. during the ten days of this course.
Given the condensed nature of the course, no excused absences will be allowed. Therefore, students should only enroll in this course if they know they are free of any outside obligations, including athletic practices and games, family events, travel plans, etc.
