  • Create/login to a GiveCampus user account
  • Use the sharing buttons (near the video and in the 'Advocates' section) to share the campaign via email, text message, and/or social media.

Social Media

Social media is a great way to engage and spread awareness of Collegiate FUNDay! Make sure you are following us @collegiaterva on Instagram and Facebook so you can like and repost our giving day content to your followers. If you want to go further than resharing our content, you can create your own social media posts to engage and promote giving day to your following. Below you will find a list of ideas to get you started as a FUNDay social media advocate!

As a reminder, if you have a private Instagram account:
  • Your content won’t appear in the #CSFUNDay26 hashtag feed
  • Your posts and stories are not re-shareable by Collegiate
  • The Collegiate account can not see your posts and stories

    • Add a giving link button (Instructions below)

  • Add a Giving Link to Your Instagram Story

    2. Prepare your Instagram story
    3. Click the face button in the top right corner (photo example above)
    4. Click on the link button
    5. Paste the URL
    6. Click ‘+ customize sticker text’ and add the text you want on your button (‘give now,’ ‘join in the fun,’ etc.)
    7. Click ‘done’ and your link should appear on your story. You can change the color by tapping it, move it around your screen to change the location, and pinch it to change its size.

    • Change your Facebook cover photo 
      • Changing your Facebook cover photo for the day is a subtle but effective way to spread awareness! When you change your cover photo to our temporary FUNDay cover photo, your friends will see this update in their timelines. It's a great reminder when they are scrolling through their feeds that it is Collegiate FUNDay and that you are a supporter. 
         *Don’t forget to:
    • Tag Collegiate 
    • Use the Hashtag #CSFUNDay26
    • Add the link to our Give Campus website to promote gifts (*Note: you can only add links to Facebook posts, not Instagram posts)

  • Create a LinkedIn Post

    *We recommend posting and promoting around two weeks ahead of FUNDay! 

    Looking to get the word out to your professional community? This guide will help you get started sharing on LinkedIn.
    1. Follow Collegiate’s LinkedIn account.
    2. Connect with your peers and fellow alumni. 
    3. Re-share our posts about FUNDay
    4. Create a post informing your followers about FUNDay 2026 and encourage them to share your posts about the campaign. Add a link to give (https://www.givecampus.com/schools/CollegiateSchoolVA/collegiate-funday-2026). Don’t forget to use our hashtag #CSFUNDay26 and tag Collegiate.
