Whether in or out of the classroom, the Collegiate spirit permeates every aspect of our School’s academic and extracurricular programs. Our school spirit goes beyond cheering at PEP Rally or proudly wearing our green and gold. Our spirit embodies the tangible and intangible qualities that define us: a community dedicated to a love of learning, mutual respect, and the continual pursuit of excellence with honor and integrity. Every step of the way, the Collegiate Fund —strengthened by the generosity of our community — sustains this spirit and creates an exceptional educational experience for Cougars, now and in the future.

Make an Impact on what Inspires you

The Collegiate Fund is the top fundraising priority of the School, and the most important philanthropic gift that is asked of our community. This year we are inviting you to join us in P.E.P. Week and show your support by “Pledging Early Please” to the Collegiate Fund!

  • Create an Instagram Story

      • On the morning of FUNDay, Collegiate’s Instagram account will share a story with an “Add Yours” template. When you are viewing the story, you can click the “Add Yours” button and upload your own story to participate in this chain of Instagram stories!

    • Add our GIF stickers to your stories! (Look at the instructions below for details)
    • Add a giving link button (Instructions below)

  • Add a Sticker to Your Instagram Story

    GIF stickers are a great way to make your Instagram stories fun. Once your Instagram story is prepared, click the face button in the top right corner and type @collegiatecougars into the 
    search bar to add fun, Collegiate stickers to your stories. 

  • Add a Giving Link to Your Instagram Story

    2. Prepare your Instagram story
    3. Click the face button in the top right corner (photo example above)
    4. Click on the link button
    5. Paste the URL
    6. Click ‘+ customize sticker text’ and add the text you want on your button (‘give now’, ‘join in the fun’, etc.)
    7. Click ‘done’ and your link should appear on your story. You can change the color by tapping it, move it around your screen to change the location, and pinch it to change its size.

      • Changing your Facebook cover photo for the day is a subtle but effective way to spread awareness! When you change your cover photo to our temporary FUNDay cover photo (download from the column on the right), your friends will see this update in their timelines. It's a great reminder when they are scrolling through their feeds that it is Collegiate FUNDay and that you are a supporter.

    • Add the link to our Give Campus website to promote gifts (*Note: you can only add links to Facebook posts, not Instagram posts)

  • Create a LinkedIn Post

    *We recommend posting and promoting around two weeks ahead of FUNDay! 

    Looking to get the word out to your professional community? This guide will help you get started sharing on LinkedIn.
    1. Follow Collegiate’s LinkedIn account.
    2. Connect with your peers and fellow alumni. 
    3. Re-share our posts about FUNDay
    4. Create a post informing your followers about FUNDay 2024 and encourage them to share your posts about the campaign. Add a link to give. Don’t forget to use our hashtag #CSFUNDay24 and tag Collegiate.

Cougars vs. Norfolk Academy from 1- 4:30 p.m. at 
Grover Jones Field. Stop by the development table to pick 
up Collegiate swag and make your pledge!
