Upper Schoolers Participate in Honor Code Assembly

Upper Schoolers launched a new tradition today during the annual Honor Code Signing Assembly: pledging their agreement to abide by this foundational Collegiate value before their peers, and sealing their promise with a handshake.

After the Honors Council student leaders shared encouraging words of wisdom, Head of Upper School Patrick Loach told students they are starting strong, with a choice to finish strong.

"You come here with your honor intact," Mr. Loach said. "You are an honorable person until you choose otherwise.... Choose honesty. It's easier, it's better and in the long run you'll be much happier being an honest person."
