Do you like using your imagination? Do you love telling stories? Have you ever wanted to be in a play? This camp introduces Lower School students to the basics of theatre. They will play acting games, explore the foundations of acting and learn how to bring stories to life onstage.
Campers will read a script based on a fairytale, be assigned roles and rehearse for a performance at the end of the week. They will practice public speaking skills, working with others, using their imaginations and building confidence. Over the course of the week, campers child will go from reading lines on a page to performing onstage! Campers do not need previous theatre experience to participate in this camp.
Meagan Justice is a Collegiate graduate, where her love of performing first began.
