Campers should bring a bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes to camp each day. With the summer season winding down, this camp offers experienced swimmers a great opportunity to continue building skills in the water. Whether swimmers are looking to refine specific strokes, build endurance, or gain confidence swimming beyond the summer months, this program provides focused instruction in a fun and encouraging environment.
This camp emphasizes technique and skill development across all four competitive strokes. With a maximum 1:6 coach-to-swimmer ratio, swimmers will receive individualized feedback both on deck and in the water. Participants should have prior swimming experience and be comfortable swimming independently. While swimmers do not need to have perfect technique in all four strokes, they should be ready to work on refinement and improvement in each area.
Pickup and drop-off for this camp will be at Collegiate’s Lower School campus. Campers will be transported to and from The Collegiate School Aquatics Center in a Collegiate bus.Isabela Keener is the JV Boys and Girls Swim Coach at Collegiate. She also served as a lifeguard and swim instructor for 7+ years, and swam competitively in her youth. Coach Keener will be assisted by members and coaches of the Collegiate Varsity Swim team.
