Science, Technology, Engineering and Math is hot right now and what better way to further these skills than through hands-on projects in building and engineering. Age-appropriate technology will be introduced to further enhance their abilities and growing interest in STEAM. Rising Kindergartners–rising 1st Graders will work on motorized, one-of-a kind Lego projects. Through teamwork, problem solving and imagination, they will build unique structures using a wide assortment of building materials.
Rising 2nd–rising 6th Graders will use advanced Lego Mindstorms Robotics 3.0 kits to build a variety of robotics projects. Taking control of these projects remotely using iPads will enhance their creativity through engineering and design. They will also be creating 3D fingertip designs using coding and programming with the latest software and technology. At the end of the week, there will be challenges designed to test each team’s robot. Campers will not only know how to create a robot and understand how it thinks and moves all while learning the value of problem-solving and teamwork.
