Cougar Community
Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best, "Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts." For over 100 years, Collegiate School has become and remains home to so many. We are proud to welcome our newest Cougars to the family and to thank our current and past family members for supporting and making this School such a strong source of pride. At Collegiate, we celebrate traditions and anxiously look forward to what the future holds. A future molded by our values and grounded in "Minds that seek. Hearts that serve."

Cherished Traditions

Most schools have special programs or traditions that serve as hallmarks of the special bonds forged between students, families and faculty over the years. Here are some of our treasured ones:

List of 4 items.

  • Convocation

An all-school gathering on Grover Jones Field for students, faculty and staff held in September to kick-off each year. Kindergartners spend this special time with their Senior buddies.
  • Cougar Pals

To help ease the transition into a new school, each student new to Collegiate in 1st Grade through 12th Grade is paired with a current student in the same class or grade.
  • Time Out

Informal social events in the fall planned for 5th and 6th Grade students by parents.
  • VGF

Village Green Fair, an on-campus event organized by parents and held each April with a variety of games and activities, food and shops for all ages. Open to the community at large.
