“Anne Hammond was an effective and enthusiastic senior captain and wonderful teammate. A six-year Collegiate swimmer medical issues short-circuited a promising aquatic career and kept her from reaching her full potential. She eventually overcame most of her maladies to become a consistent dual, LIS and State Meet scorer. Her junior year she placed seventh in the 100 free in the LIS meet, seventh in the 50 free and ninth in the 50 free as a senior. Both years her 200 free relays were third. At the VISAA meet in the 200 free relay she helped the Cougars to fourth (2016) and seventh (2017). Her 25.55 in the 50 free places her tenth on Collegiate’s All-Time Top Ten.” - Coach Stott
