Leading and impacting others requires an understanding of oneself, empathy towards others, active engagement, personal reflection, and meaningful inquiry. This camp is designed to help you develop and practice these leadership skills. Led by Carolyn Villanueva, you will explore your own identity, share your own story and learn from the stories of others. In the morning, invited speakers and activities will be used to reveal these leadership skills. Each afternoon, campers will directly apply these skills as counselors assisting in a variety of camp settings. Campers will return the following day to share and reflect on their experience and leadership.
