Come learn new and exciting ways to make portraits! We will draw, paint, collage and use a variety of unconventional materials as we expand upon our concepts of portrait work. Students will create multiple pieces of art that showcase and celebrate the people and things that matter to them. Let’s stretch our creative muscles, hone in on our individual artistic styles, practice self-expression through art and have a great time together!
Hayden Ireland is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. She has taught visual art and theatre performance at School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC) for six years. She believes wholeheartedly in the power and magic of art, children, people and community.
