Lane and Billy Mosby became part of the Collegiate Cougar community two years ago after relocating from Charlotte, North Carolina. In that short time, the two have become familiar faces around campus.
“Leaving Charlotte after 13 years wasn’t easy, but the warmth and spirit of the Collegiate community has made the transition extremely positive and inspiring,” said Billy.
They and their daughters, Taylor ’26 and Cheney ’29, have found a home at Collegiate and feel more connected each year.
“Our daughters have been thrilled to take advantage of exciting opportunities offered in their grade levels and to participate in the wonderful campus traditions, such as Convocation, Homecoming events, buddy programs and performances,” Lane said.
From their first moments on campus, the Mosbys felt compelled to act as ambassadors for Collegiate. They have served as volunteers for Village Green Fair, Cougar Holiday Express, the Admission Committee, Lower School Library and Lower School Campus Hospitality.
Lane and Billy, who have signed on as Collegiate’s Parent Annual Fund Chairs for the 2017-18 school year, say they look forward to “giving back and supporting the Collegiate community that has welcomed us so warmly and nurtures our girls every day.”
We are grateful for the commitment, dedication and generosity of families like the Mosbys and all they do for Collegiate.
