Gratitude and Limitless Possibilities

Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.

Dear Parents,
I hope your family has enjoyed the first two weeks of what is starting off to be an exciting and rewarding school year.

We are pleased to welcome an outstanding group of returning and new students, and our young people and faculty have hit the ground running. Their positive energy can be felt all over our campus. After such an encouraging start, the groundwork is laid for a year of limitless possibilities.
In preparation for the Lower School’s opening Town Meeting last week, I was asked by a 4th Grade class to describe myself using three adjectives. Without hesitation, the first one I chose was grateful. I remain grateful for our talented students whose sense of wonder fill our hallways, reminding us why we are here and turning our work into joy. I remain grateful for the outstanding teachers who give tirelessly of themselves each and every day, transforming common days into thanksgivings. And I remain grateful for this wonderful school community that seeks a place for all, helping transform opportunities into blessings.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child. We appreciate greatly this responsibility and embark on this school year with a healthy dose of humility, resolve and hope.

Best wishes for a great 2017-18 school year.
