The Summer Sports Performance program is for all rising 7th-12th Grade students. This is a nine-week, comprehensive, developmental program designed to inspire student athletes to maximize athletic potential while reducing the risk for injury. Each athlete will also build the physical competencies that will allow him or her to be adaptable to the demands of the sports in which they will participate.
This is not a mandatory program, but we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE each student athlete to take advantage of this opportunity in order to build a foundation for a successful 2017-18. As many of you know there will be a lot of hard work and hot days, but I promise you will never regret your commitment and effort for which no talent is required.
Be prepared! Arrive 15 minutes early ... to be early is to be on time! Please be hydrated and get up early to eat something to fuel for the workout. For an athlete, hydration is an all day, every day commitment. Bring a water bottle, cleats, a snack and sports drink for post-workout to help fuel your recovery.

Our Summer Program for rising 7th and 8th Grade students builds upon the fundamental skills acquired in Lower School and Middle School Physical Education. It is part of our progressive, long-term plan focused on the development of fundamental skills, general movement patterns, coordination, flexibility and overall fitness.
Strength training for these younger athletes will focus on teaching body weight exercises such as push-ups, pull-ups, squats, lunges, step-ups, etc. All exercises and drills will be age-appropriate and progression will be completely dependent upon the mastery of technique and level of development of each athlete. Two coaches are on hand to teach and ensure correct technique.
