Upper School Robotics Team Torch 5804 Gathers to Kickoff Season
Collegiate’s Upper School robotics team, Torch 5804, gathered for the season kickoff on January 4. Nearly 50 students, parents and mentors were on hand for the webcast reveal of the details for the FIRST Robotics game, themed "Infinite Recharge."
After the webcast, team members spent the rest of the day — technically the first “build day” of the season — developing an understanding of the game and their strategy for it, beginning the design process and constructing field elements. The first competition of the season is March 6.
