Upper School Faculty and Seniors Gather for Annual Breakfast

Collegiate Upper School teachers and seniors enjoyed a casual breakfast this morning in Sharp Academic Commons to celebrate students’ accomplishments and to encourage them to finish the year strong.
Before introducing Upper School science teacher Dave Privasky, Patrick Loach, Head of Upper School, thanked the seniors for a great year so far.

“Your leadership has been evident and makes a difference,” he said. “Know that students from JK to 11th Grade are looking to you.”

Mr. Privasky told the seniors that they were in 8th Grade when he first started working at Collegiate, and he felt very connected to them as their coach and teacher.

“There is no other group that I have spent more time with,” he said.

He reminded them that they have 12 more Mondays and 11 more Fridays left in the school year, and urged them to make every day left on campus count before they graduate.

“I want you to be excited for tomorrow and what the future holds,” he said. “Keep making us proud. I wish you the best of the best.”
