Middle School Changemaker Club Building Product Prototype

In the Middle School Changemakers Club, Collegiate 7th and 8th Grade students are working on solving a problem and making a positive impact. Members of the club have explored ways to help kids feel less fearful in a medical environment. They have created a rough Sloth Sleeve that attaches a patient’s arm and distracts him or her. Club members met with Middle and Upper School STEAM coordinator Dan Bartels in his STEAM lab for help on creating a more realistic prototype.
