Learning Continues in the 3rd Grade Lego League
Learning continues after the bell rings for Collegiate students involved in the 3rd Grade Lego League.
Students solve problems using robotics engineering in one of three programs. FIRST LEGO League Junior (2nd and 3rd Grade) is the first level; FIRST LEGO League (3rd and 4th Grade) is the second level; and LEGO Technic (4th Grade) is a level of Legos “geared” towards engineering where the focus is primarily on the mechanical and systems side of robotics rather than team competitions.
Experienced Lower School robotics students have the opportunity to participate in a practice team using materials from the Middle School competition team.
