Cougar Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

Eight Collegiate School student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI) or commitment documents this afternoon to commit to playing athletics in college next year. The students, along with their families, coaches, Collegiate faculty and friends, gathered to sign their letters wearing baseball caps of their respective future schools.
The students are: Julia Edwards, University of Miami, soccer; Maggie Bostain, University of Virginia, lacrosse; Maggie Fralin, University of Virginia, soccer; Gracie Clarke, University of Richmond, lacrosse; Paige Bowling, Christopher Newport University, field hockey; Michael Stewart, James Madison University, baseball; Liam Bellamy, University of Virginia, track; and
Avery Rogers, Campbell University, swimming

For more information about competing in college athletics, the College Counseling Office is holding an NCAA Recruiting Information Session on Thursday Nov. 14, at 8:30 a.m. in McFall Hall, Room 122. The session is targeted for all 8th-11th Grade parents of possible future college student-athletes to learn more about the recruiting process.
