Gearing Up for Village Green Fair

Collegiate School's 54th Annual Village Green Fair will take place this Saturday. The fun-filled event, which is the School's largest fundraiser, is spearheaded by the Parents' Association.
Fair co-chairs Allyson Brand and Jennifer Ruth ‘90, along with a slew of volunteers, have been working tirelessly to ensure the fair runs smoothly and provides loads of amusement for all who plan to attend.

“The fair creates a sense of pride and enjoyment when volunteering to work an inflatable (or) seeing a child's beaming smile as he or she slides down a huge slide or races a friend in a Zorb Ball,” Mrs. Ruth said. “There are a variety of activities to keep everyone of all ages busy and happy all day long!”

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Lower School field, attendees can expect exciting games, fun inflatables, spectacular shopping, delicious food and great prizes, all while fostering camaraderie with members of the Collegiate community.

“It is my hope that everyone leaves the fair with a warm heart, knowing that they supported their School and enjoyed a day with other Collegiate families, forming new friendships and enriching old relationships,” Mrs. Ruth said. “I hope that they feel a sense of community and realize what a truly special place Collegiate is for them and their family.”
