An Exciting Game

Down 0-2 at the half, the Cougars would not be deterred! While Collegiate played strong in all areas in the first half, their second-half game was even better! Matched up against an older, stronger, bigger opponent, the Cougars were able to maintain possession, connect passes, create chances, takes shots, and defend quick counter-attacks. Cate R put the team on the board with a beautiful goal from the left in the 45th minute. Her goal definitely upped the intensity for both teams. Western Albemarle's goalie made more than a couple of amazing saves, keeping their lead by 1 goal. Collegiate showed they are not to be taken lightly this season! Well done Cougars!
