Collegiate Students Participate in Model UN

Over the first weekend in February, 28 members of Collegiate School’s Model UN team headed to Washington, D.C., for the American University Model United Nations Conference (AMERIMUNC). The group participated in an earlier conference at the College of William and Mary in November.
The February conference operated as a United Nations Security Council simulation. This year, the simulation divided delegates into 22 committees to address specific issues in Asia, including the conflict in North Korea, the South China Sea conflict and Asia’s technology goldmine.
