Collegiate Singers to Participate in Honor Choirs

Collegiate senior Alex McKay has been chosen to participate in the 2019 Virginia Music Educator's Association Senior Honor Choir. More than 1,000 students auditioned for the choir and 160 were invited to join. The event takes place Nov. 21-23 at the VMEA Conference at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia.

Middle School students Liam Jones, Gabrielle Flynn, Faith Wood and Addison Young were selected for the 2020 American Choral Ddirectors Association Children's Honor Choir.

Singers auditioned against a pool of thousands of singers from Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. In total, about 150 singers were selected for this choir.
