Collegiate's IT Leader Wins Award

Jamie Britto, Collegiate School’s Chief Information Officer, recently received a global leadership award for outstanding achievement. Mr. Britto traveled to Toronto, Canada last month to accept the honor, which was bestowed upon only 29 IT professionals worldwide by the global technology company Info-Tech Research Group.

Mr. Britto and Collegiate’s IT Department were recognized for receiving a Top Mid-Market ranking. This standing was determined by using data from a satisfaction survey the Collegiate IT department issued to faculty and staff last year.

Info-Tech queried 40,000 leaders and stakeholders from 3,000 companies across the globe to see how well their technology departments were performing. Collegiate’s satisfaction scores were among the highest reported.

“I see this as a team award rather than an individual award,” Mr. Britto said. “We grow more and more dependent on technology every day to help us communicate, to run our buildings and to teach and learn. I feel fortunate and blessed to work with such a great team within the technology office, within the School’s leadership, and within the faculty and staff. “

Congrats, Mr. Britto!
