HP: Trip to Iceland
Amid dirt cones of volcanic rock, adventurous students traveling with Outdoor Collegiate to Iceland embark on a hike with ice axes and crampons on Sólheimajökull Glacier. This glacier has receded over a kilometer in the past 20 years, and its annual summer melt flowed audibly below in portions of their climb.

All 1st Graders participate in plays performed for the Lower School as well as parents.
